A story from Night in the Front Line, a collection of Second World War short stories. Based on the author’s own family experiences, Mrs Miniver was the subject of a regular newspaper column and many of his short stories. In this story, we follow Mrs Miniver and her family as they pick up their gas masks from the Town Hall.
