My first try on Tessa Bailey and I'm not impressed. I'm a romantic and I can take a rude fictional badboy, but this MMC was just too self-absorbed and disrespectful towards the very soft FMC. It did have some cozy moments and I don't have many objections to the spice.

Fun, flirty and -yeah, if youâre new to Tessa Bailey, be warned- there will be a filthy talk. Still, this series comes of as much milder than her usual style even though the MMCs inner monologue is typically deprecating, explicit and just as depraved as youâd expect. In a totally fun way though and he of course starts to reevaluate and progress as expected. This ends on HFN and the MCs are part of the following two books. Enjoyable but not super memorable.
